Artwork Programs

We accept artwork designed in layout programs such as quark, Indesign and Illustrator for both Mac and PC as high resolution .PDFs incorporating the following:

Artworking

1. Please allow 0.12" bleed to all artwork supplied
2. Do not ink any areas where glue is applied, such cover placements
3. If printing CMYK please ensure all pantone colors have been replaced with CMYK equivalents prior to transfer
4. Color management: Please ensure that ink coverage for coated paper is less than 320% and for uncoated stocks 260%. Images should be minimum of 300dpi and placed in a layout program with 100% +/- 20% resolution, all images should be CMYK

Mock-Up

For any product produced using two substrates, such as Zig-Zag cards, a mock-up is required. A digital picture of a physical mock-up (shot front and back) is our preferred method.

Artwork Transfer

Use our complimentary digital courier service:

1. Place all artwork files, fonts and images in to a single folder (our courier .zip's them for you)
2. Send us artwork by clicking here
3. Fill in the form as requested and send to Curveball. Fill in your e-mail address you will receive a download notification once the file has been downloaded
4. Add message / job ref
5. SEND

Proofing

Our standard proofing is by high res' .PDF. The cost of pre-press and .PDF generation are accounted for in your estimate. Prices for hard copy proofs and wet proofs are available on request.
